a week agoGreat service, absolutely delicious food served fresh and hot and very quickly. The saag paneer was amazing, and the garlic naan was mouthwatering. We also loved the chicken curry, rice, and samosas. My kids already told me that we have to stop there every time we drive through Arizona. Bonus they have great Bhangra music playing and the bathrooms are very clean.

3 weeks agoThis is SUCH delicious food. We arrived close to closing time, and were served almost immediately. The Butter Chicken & Chicken Curry (red) are terrific. (We had medium spicy and the heat was perfect.) The samosas were hot, crispy and stuffed with perfectly prepared vegetables. The dipping sauces were so flavorful. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back often. Wish we could have these terrific folks closer to our neighborhood in Pinetop - but the drive over and back is totally worth it. Schedule your meal stop here!

a month agoAmazing truck stop Indian food! What a great find! Really friendly service. Yes it’s a truck stop and they give you styrofoam plates, but anywhere else this food would be twice the price.

3 months agoFood was amazing, everyone i talked to was very nice and professional. Menus provided at the front counter. They have a staff member go around and check on everyone at the tables who is very attentive and friendly. And the food was plentiful. I had to take almost half of it with me to go. Very grateful this place is here and will definitely eat here again the next time I pass through.

3 months agoThe human beings who work and serve here are amazing, kind, modest, humble, and an absolute joy to interact with. I have been eating here since August 2025. I drive 18-wheeler and travel back and forth across country several times a year. Each time I am able to stop here it's the highlight of my journey. I have had the Lamb Biryani on three trips, the Samosas on three trips, the Garlic Naan on two trips and the Lamb Curry on this trip. I have also sampled other menu items. The food is impeccable, seasoned perfectly, and absolutely delicious. The meat is tender, moist and packed with flavor. The sauces are exquisite. The Naan is fresh and so are the garlic and herbs. The price is so very affordable and reasonable. Treat yourself to a meal you will never forget at SWAADSTOP!

The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every dish had the perfect balance of spices, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to help with recommendations. Portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you’re a fan of mild flavors or enjoy spicy dishes, there’s something here for everyone. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Indian food and a great dining experience. 5 months agoWe stopped at Swad Stop Punjabi Dhaba on I-40 while visiting Petrified Forest National Park. It’s a Punjabi restaurant located at a truck stop where many Punjabi truck drivers stop to eat, shower, and rest. The restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. There are couple of more food stores like Burger King inside the truck stop. We ordered aloo gobhi, chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, goat curry, along with garlic naan and roti. The food was good overall—simple, comforting Punjabi-style cooking. Everything tasted fine and met expectations, especially after a long day of travel. A solid stop if you’re on I-40 and craving Indian food.
